Weft Audience Club is BACK for 2026!

12 August 2026
WEFT Audience Club 2026

Weft Audience Club is back for its fifth edition at Dublin Fringe Festival.

This is an invitation for Black and global majority audience members who want to experience the festival together, not just as spectators, but as witnesses, thinkers, talkers, and part of a temporary community moving through the city, the Festival programme, and the conversations that live around the work.

Across Dublin Fringe Festival 2026, a small group of Audience Club members — our CLUBBERS — will attend shows together, meet artists, take part in post-show conversations, and gather across the Festival to reflect on what they’ve seen. Weft Audience Club is for people who are curious about bold new performances, excited by live performance, and interested in sharing space with others who want to watch, listen, question, respond, and connect. You don’t need to be an artist to apply. You just need to be interested in showing up, seeing the work, and being part of the conversation.

Come see it with us. Come talk about it with us. Come be part of Weft Audience Club 2026.

What is Weft Audience Club?
Weft Audience Club is a space for Black and global majority audience members to experience Dublin Fringe Festival together. Led by Weft Audience Club Coordinator Renn Miano, the club offers a collective way into the festival.
It’s about more than watching shows.
It’s about witnessing together. It’s about making space for our responses. It’s about building connection through performance, conversation, and community.

What will CLUBBERS receive?
● Free tickets to attend up to nine Dublin Fringe Festival shows
● A chance to see work with a group of peers
● Space to reflect, talk, and connect after performances and opportunities to meet artists and festival makers
● Invitations to Dublin Fringe Festival events, club nights, and gatherings
● A closer look at the festival from the inside
● A chance to become part of the wider WEFT and Dublin Fringe Festival community

Who is this for?
This call-out is for Black and global majority folks who are interested in exploring new performance, live art, theatre, dance, music, experimental work, and everything in between. You might be someone who already attends the Festival every year. You might be someone who has always wanted to go but hasn’t known where to begin. You might be an artist, a writer, a producer, a student, a cultural worker, or simply someone who loves gathering around art and conversation. Whether this is your first time joining us or you’ve been part of Weft before in any capacity, we’d LOVE to hear from you.
