We're Hiring for a FRINGE LAB & Artistic Assistant

26 August 2019

We're recruiting for a dynamic individual to join our team as our FRINGE LAB & Artistic Assistant. This individual will manage Fringe LAB operations and serve as the administrator for the artistic department.

As FRINGE LAB & Artistic Assistant of Dublin Fringe Festival, you are a key member of our core team. Your job is dynamic, creative, interpersonal and administrative; mixing all the best parts of project management, supporting artists and bringing Fringe’s bold creative vision to life.

You oversee the administration and operations of Fringe’s year-round artist support programme, managing all aspects of the facility and artist interaction and serve as their primary point of contact in the building. You coordinate FRINGE LAB scheduling and overall operations as it relates to artists. Additionally, you support the artistic department in the creation and execution of the Festival. You will meet and work closely with hundreds of members of Ireland’s independent performing arts community and foster ties with visiting international artists. When it comes to detail management, you’re beyond thorough: you take pride in never missing a beat.  You are the first point of contact between Fringe and artists on an ongoing basis. We see this position as the director of first impressions, host, problem-solver and cheerleader.

You are knowledgeable and passionate about the performing arts and cultural life in Dublin and in Ireland. You’re imaginative, curious and eager to bring your perspective to Fringe’s work. Your job invites you to advance the role of the performing arts in Ireland and positively impact the lives and livelihoods of artists. You’ll do it alongside one of the most skilled, dynamic, supportive and hard-working teams in Ireland.
