Applications now open!
Want in on the action? Be part of something wild, weird, and wonderful this September. We’re building a dream team of volunteers to help us bring the latest edition of Dublin Fringe Festival to life — and we want YOU in the mix.
From late-night venues to bold outdoor happenings, Fringe takes over the city for two glorious weeks of shows, surprises, and seriously good vibes. As a volunteer, you’ll be front and centre — meeting artists, working behind the scenes, soaking it all in (and yes, catching some shows too).
What is Fringe?
We’re a home for brave ideas, bold performances, and boundary-pushing artists. Every September, we explode across the city with a curated line-up of theatre, comedy, dance, music, drag, art and everything in between. It’s new work, fresh voices, and big fun — all packed into two creative-chaos-filled weeks.
Dublin Fringe Festival is about people. Audiences, artists — and the volunteers who help make it all happen. Our community is loud, proud, inclusive and fiercely creative. No experience needed — just bring your enthusiasm, curiosity and love for the arts.

A Little More on What You’ll Do:
Front of House: Usher shows, help audiences, be the welcoming face of Fringe in venues all over town — Smock Alley, Project Arts Centre, The Lir, National Stadium and more.
Box Office: Scan tickets, check guest lists, and help keep the show on the road. Experience with scanners or Ticketsolve? Brilliant, but not required.
Outdoor Events Stewards: Love fresh air and fast action? Help manage crowds, liaise with the public and support production teams at major open-air events like those at Dublin Castle and beyond. (Bring your raincoat – it’s still Ireland.)
Dublin Fringe volunteers are the heartbeat of the festival. We couldn’t do it without you — and frankly, we wouldn’t want to.
Join us. Be part of the buzz. Make art happen ♥️
