Join Áine O'Hara on July 30 - Book Your Place Now!

17 July 2020

We are delighted to announce our upcoming event with Áine O'Hara on Thursday, July 30.

Are you a maker in need of advice on how to create a fully accessible show? Looking to create a safe and comfortable working environment for all of your cast and crew?

Áine O’Hara is an award winning theatre-maker creating exciting and vulnerable work for and about people who are often left out of traditional art and theatre spaces. She is currently at a pivotal stage in her career as she re-imagines how she creates work following her diagnosis with fibromyalgia. O’Hara is a graduate of MFA Design at The Lir, Trinity College Dublin and the Institute of Art and Design, Dun Laoghaire.

O’Hara’s identity as queer, disabled and working class is embedded in her work.  The work questions and exposes bureaucracies that oppress those who fall outside certain definitions of ‘normal,’ ‘valuable’, and ‘productive. Her work experiments with form and focuses on connection, conversation, and care.

Sign up here to be one of the 15 participants. This event will take place on Zoom.

Please let us know if you have any access requirements.
