We are delighted to announce the continuation of our partnership with Gorilla Design for 2026, marking the third year of our collaboration.

Gorilla Design will once again join Dublin Fringe Festival as a key artistic and design partner, working across several strands of this year’s Festival. Their support includes providing in-kind production expertise to two shows in the 2026 programme, creating set design for our programme launch and awards ceremony, and supporting the Gorilla Design Best Design Award.

For more than twenty years, Gorilla Design has worked across performance and events in Ireland, helping artists and organisations transform ambitious creative ideas into memorable physical spaces and experiences.

SUPPORTING SHOWS:

This year, we are delighted to announce the two productions receiving in-kind support from Gorilla Design:

A Recurrence by D’Girlos Theatre Company

Elysian Transmutation by Eluna & Kid Kuba

Through this support, Gorilla Design will help both artistic teams realise the scale of their ambition, offering practical production expertise, creative problem-solving and specialist knowledge from one of Ireland’s most inventive event and set design companies.

Alongside their work with these productions, Gorilla Design will continue as a design partner across the wider Festival, creating set design for our launch and awards and supporting the Gorilla Design Best Design Award.

A Recurrence

D'Girlos Theatre

How much has really changed for working-class women in Ireland?

Three generations of working-class Dublin women. Three homes: 1930s tenement, 1990s flat, modern council house. Thin walls. No privacy. No real choice. As each faces an unplanned pregnancy, time fractures and the same cycles of pressure, secrecy and survival repeat.

These homes, built differently, hold the same truth: we’ve never erased poverty, it’s just changed shape.
