Dublin Fringe Festival artists make all kinds of work, in all kinds of places — and they need all kinds of people to bring it to life.
Willing Workers is our database of creatives, makers, technicians, producers, marketers and freelancers of all kinds, across a wide range of skillsets and experience levels, who are open to working on Dublin Fringe Festival 2026 shows and events through paid and voluntary opportunities.
From photographers, graphic designers and videographers to stage managers, lighting technicians, producers, costume designers, prop makers, sound operators and social media whizzes, if you’ve got skills to offer — or you’re keen to get stuck in and build experience — we’d love to hear from you.

How it works: We also use the list to help with creative matchmaking, identify technical and production support, and connect festival activity with the people who can help make it happen.
Who should sign up?
We’re looking for people with a wide range of skills, including:
- AV design and technical support
- Choreography and movement direction
- Composition
- Costume design
- Stage crew / general help
- Graphic design
- Hair and make-up
- Lighting design and operation
- Marketing, PR and social media
- Photography and videography
- Producing
- Prop making
- Set / scenic design
- Sound design and operation
- Stage management
And more.
Pay and expectations: Many Fringe shows are made on small budgets or profit-share models, so opportunities will vary from project to project. On the sign-up form, you can let us know whether you’re looking to volunteer, be paid, or are open to either depending on the project.
Any role, time commitment and fee will be agreed directly between you and the artist or company, based on the needs and resources of the project, and your own circumstances and availability. Dublin Fringe Festival facilitates the connection, but any agreement made is between you and the artist or company.
