Fringe FUSE: The Ruby Sessions Edition

06 February 2020

Calling all singer-songwriters and musical storytellers!

Are you an emerging or established musician or lyricist who would benefit from trying some new material with friendly feedback in a safe and supportive performance space?

We’re looking for three brave new voices to take part in this year’s Music edition of Fringe FUSE, our regular scratch night for work in development. Fringe LAB is delighted to be teaming up with The Ruby Sessions for our second ever Fringe FUSE Music Edition.  For over 20 years, The Ruby Sessions have delivered intimate, stripped back musical events from their home in Doyle’s of College Street and has earned a reputation as a Dublin Institution. This two-day event will be an opportunity for artists to try-out new work before their Ruby Sessions performance. Selected artists will bring their pieces and the story behind them to Fringe FUSE to test them in a safe and supportive audience before debuting their work at the full candle-lit experience of The Ruby Sessions on 3rd March.

The scratch evening takes place in Fringe LAB on Thursday 27th February from 8pm until 10pm, followed by the live showcase at The Ruby Sessions, upstairs at Doyle’s Pub, College Street, Dublin 2 on Tuesday, 3rd March. Admission to the Scratch evening in FRINGE LAB is €5, and it includes a special Fringified cocktail on arrival., audience members will then receive free entry to Ruby Sessions on 3rd March, no queuing or anything!
