Dublin Fringe Festival Welcomes New Team Members

We’re delighted to announce some of the wonderful new additions who have joined the Dublin Fringe Festival team in 2026: our new Studios Coordinator Alba Molina, Marketing Assistant Danny Kendrick and Festival Reader Chandrika Narayanan-Mohan. 

Alba Molina Cañamero will be joining us part-time as our Studios Coordinator. Alba will be responsible for the Dublin Fringe Studios bookings and hires, for the uninterrupted operations of our building and for welcoming all artist in the Dublin Fringe Festival headquarters. Alba is an artist and creative producer based in Dublin. Her independent practice is rooted in sonology and spatial practices, working across photography, sound and video. She collaborates with Dublin Modular on site-responsive events and experimental music programmes, and is the creative producer of Synthesize_her, a FLINTA collective and synth library supporting marginalised communities in sound technology. She is also part of the steering committee at Dublin Digital Radio. Recent projects include development and production for Alternating Current ~ Urban Scores, production for Anatomy of a Night at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and a series of soundwalks exploring listening as a way of engaging with urban space.

Danny Kendrick joins us as Marketing Assistant, supporting Head of Marketing Jen Breslin in delivering Dublin Fringe Festival’s annual campaign and the year-round promotion of our artist support initiatives. Working across social media, artist support, and general campaign coordination, Danny will play an important role in creating content and delivering campaigns that connect audiences with the festival and the artists at its heart.

Danny is an arts marketing professional from Trim, Co. Meath, with a background in media production. Joining us off the back of a successful internship and his work as a content creator for Dublin Fringe Festival, Danny has been working as Programme Administrator since February, and is thrilled to continue his career with us as Marketing Assistant. With a deep love for the arts and for storytelling, he brings skill in social media content production and a real care for supporting artists and their work. Danny will join us from the 1st of April and you can contact him on Daniel@fringefest.com with any relevant questions.

Due to an influx of incredible applications in for our 2026 edition of the Festival, we have engaged the excellent artist and cultural consultant Chandrika Narayanan-Mohan as a Reader for this year’s process. The Programming Team are delighted to have Chandrika’s skilled eye and curatorial rigour joining the Programming Room this year.  

Alba Molina Cañamero

Alba Molina Cañamero [she/her] is an artist and creative producer based in Dublin. She is Studios Coordinator at Dublin Fringe Festival, where she oversees the festival’s rehearsal and development studios. 

Alba maintains an independent practice rooted in sonology and spatial practices, working across photography, sound and video. She collaborates with Dublin Modular on site-responsive events and experimental music programmes. She is also the creative producer of Synthesize_her, a FLINTA collective and synth library that promotes and supports marginalized communities in sound technology. In addition, she is part of the steering committee with dublin digital radio. Recent projects include the development & production for Alternating Current ~ Urban Scores, production for Anatomy of a Night at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and a series of soundwalks focusing on listening as a way of engaging with urban space.  Alba is currently taking part in the M.Phil in Digital Arts and Intermedia Practices in TCD, and is a member of the Student Forum at The Douglas Hyde Gallery. 

Danny Kendrick

Danny Kendrick is an arts marketing professional with a background in media production from Trim, Co. Meath. Danny holds a BA in Media Production and Digital Arts in TUD and a Graduate Diploma in Cultural Policy and Arts Management in UCD.


 

Chandrika Narayanan-Mohan

Chandrika Narayanan-Mohan is an Irish-Indian writer, performer, and cultural consultant, published by Banshee, Stinging Fly, Poetry Ireland, and others. She has been artist-in-residence for several science initiatives and is a Skein Press Play it Forward Fellow. Her debut poetry collection is being published with Dedalus Press this year. She also worked for Fishamble: The New Play company for a number of years, and as a freelance creative has worked with Moonfish Theatre, Branar, Lyric Theatre Belfast, Julie Kelleher, and was a Dublin Fringe Festival Judge in 2022.
