Dublin Fringe Festival welcomes Ballymore as Principal Patron for 2019

30 July 2019

Dublin Fringe Festival welcomes Ballymore as the Principal Patron of next year’s festival. Fringe is home to bold ideas, brave makers and works of skill and consequence. We are gearing up to celebrate our 25th birthday in 2019 and this support will help us to make space in the city for artists and open doors for one-of-a-kind experiences for audiences. This patronage reflects Ballymore’s belief in our mission. Dublin Fringe Festival supports the ambitions of Ireland’s extraordinary community of independent artists. It facilitates opportunities to innovate and plays a pivotal role in the fabric of Dublin and Irish cultural life.

Ballymore’s patronage of Fringe is the latest in the company’s investments in the arts, as led by Chairman Sean Mulryan, including the Unity Arts Festival and The Line, London’s first contemporary art trail, as well as providing new homes for the English National Ballet and the London Film School at the new cultural quarter on London City Island. Ballymore understands the essential role that culture plays in creating a true sense of place and belonging for communities.

Next year, it may be our birthday, but we’re throwing the city a party. Watch this space for details of our big celebrations. Dublin Fringe Festival runs 7 – 22 September 2019. If you’d like to donate €25 for our 25th birthday, please click here.
