DUBLIN FRINGE FESTIVAL 2026: Applications Opening Soon
Applications for Dublin Fringe Festival 2026 open on 1st December 2025. We’re opening earlier than usual, so here’s everything you need to know including key dates, upcoming info sessions, and how you can get support on your application.
Key Dates
- Applications open: Monday 1 December 2025 for Festival 2026
- Applications close: Thursday 22 January 2026 at 2PM (GMT)
- Festival dates: 5 – 20 September 2026
Application Support
We know applying takes time and headspace, and we want to make the process as clear and accessible as possible. Here’s what’s coming up:
APPLICATION INFORMATION WORKSHOPS
An hour long workshop detailing how the festival works, what we’re looking for, and tips for applying, followed by a 30-minute Q&A.

Can’t make it? We’ll share a recording of the Zoom session and an FAQ shortly after both events.
ELEVENSES ON FRIDAY 28th NOVEMBER 2025
Join us for Elevenses on Friday 28 November at 11AM at Dublin Fringe Festival HQ.
Drop in for a coffee, this is an informal space to ask questions and chat about the application process. Hosted by Programme Manager Katherine Murphy and Programme Assistant Clíona Malin. No need to book, just buzz in at 11AM.
Please note: Dublin Fringe Festival HQ is accessed by stairs only.
ONE-TO-ONE APPLICATION MEETINGS
Individual meetings with the Programming Team will be available throughout December and January. Booking links go live once applications open, check back in early December to book.
