BOARD NEWS: Michael McDermott joins the Board of Dublin Fringe Festival

Dublin Fringe Festival is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael McDermott (he/him) to our Board of Directors.

Michael is a creative producer, cultural strategist and long-time supporter of the independent arts in Ireland. He is the current Director of the Liberties Festival, and was previously Editor of Totally Dublin and Publisher of Le Cool Dublin. Michael also works with leading music and culture site Nialler9, and curates events for Irish Design Week, among others. 

He holds a postgraduate degree in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship from Trinity College Dublin. A selection of his cultural and creative projects can be explored at neighbrhd.com.

Dublin Fringe Festival looks forward to the invaluable contributions Michael will make as we continue our mission to champion groundbreaking artistic experiences and foster a vibrant cultural community.
