Trolley Boy

Diarmuid Armstrong Mayock
A close-up of a person’s face partly hidden behind the metal bars and shadows of a shopping trolley.

Choreography by Diarmuid Armstrong Mayock

Bob is lost in an endless shop.

Born, living and dying within its aisles, the inhabitants of this dark, cyclical world move through a strange existence they do not understand. As Bob searches for meaning, connection and a sense of belonging, this surreal dance-theatre piece draws us into an infinite universe that is intriguing, disquieting and oddly familiar.

Dark, grotesque, blissful, cathartic and absurd, this is a journey through the aisles of existence.
