Tenderfoot: Plays By & For Young People
A black and white close-up photo of an child lying down with their head resting on coarse burlap sacks in dim lighting.Visible access symbol: Free and 13+.

New voices. Important stories. A roar. A howl. A cry.

TenderWRITE invites you to see the world through the eyes of our youngest artists, playwrights aged 16 – 24, illuminating the here and the bang up to now!

Stories to shine light on what it’s like to try to hope for a future when the world all around is spinning. Spinning fast. Spinning furiously. Spinning dangerously out of control.

Plays crafted and drafted under the mentorship of TenderWRITE’s core mentors, Veronica Coburn and Gavin Kostick.

TenderWRITE is a Civic Theatre Young Artist Support Programme supported by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, South Dublin County Council, & Fishamble: The New Play Company.
