The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art at Trinity College Dublin presents a showcase of new plays by this year’s graduating MFA playwrights, Hillary Dziminski, Marc Conroy and Aoife Leonard - who was awarded The Patricia Leggett Scholarship. The three playwrights have been immersed in training led by Graham Whybrow, former Literary Manager of the Royal Court, and taught by playwrights, dramaturges and literary managers. Scripted has a professional cast including graduate actors from The Lir Academy. It offers script-in-hand readings of extracts and is a chance to hear new plays by emerging playwrights. We would especially like to thank Jim and Janet Curley and Jones Engineering Group, “Patrons of Playwriting” at The Lir Academy.
