Ratling

Genevieve Hulme-Beaman
A woman in yellow gloves stands in a tiled kitchen holding up one gloved hand, with a rat at her waist.

Jacky keeps her house immaculate, her routine rigid and her diet exclusively Special K Red Berries.

When something sinister scuttles its way into the safe haven of her home, she is rattled to her bones and buried desires, wild terrors and unsubduable impulses begin to gnaw away at her edges...

Could this be the end of the world as she knows it? Or might this intruder awaken Jackie to the dangerous possibility of a life beyond the cage she’s built for herself?

Darkly hilarious and deliciously surprising, this is a wickedly funny exploration of fear, desire and glorious chaos.
