From Mumbai to Cork-Bai

Maanadh
A man rests his head on his hand in front of a colourful collage combining Mumbai and Cork imagery, including landmarks, text and maps.

I moved to Cork to find myself.

Not something you hear often. Especially from an Indian.

At 22, Maanadh decided to rebel. While his friends moved to New York, London, Sydney and Toronto - he moved to Cork, the real capital. One year, then somewhere else. Grand.

Eight years later, he’s still there - finding himself mostly in trouble: living with an Irish family, learning Irish, discovering Murphy’s and getting stranded on the Aran Islands.

A comedy special about embracing the culture and hoping it embraces him back.

'Smashes it every time I see him, Mannadh is one of the best new comics I’ve seen in a long time' - Chris Kent

'One of the funniest new acts in the country' - Tom O'Mahony
