Alba Molina Cañamero
Alba Molina Cañamero [she/her] is an artist and creative producer based in Dublin. She is Studios Coordinator at Dublin Fringe Festival, where she oversees the festival’s rehearsal and development studios.
Alba maintains an independent practice rooted in sonology and spatial practices, working across photography, sound and video. She collaborates with Dublin Modular on site-responsive events and experimental music programmes. She is also the creative producer of Synthesize_her, a FLINTA collective and synth library that promotes and supports marginalized communities in sound technology. In addition, she is part of the steering committee with dublin digital radio.
Recent projects include the development & production for Alternating Current ~ Urban Scores, production for Anatomy of a Night at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and a series of soundwalks focusing on listening as a way of engaging with urban space.
Alba is currently taking part in the M.Phil in Digital Arts and Intermedia Practices in TCD, and is a member of the Student Forum at The Douglas Hyde Gallery.
