Marketing & Development Manager

Neasa previously worked at the Gate Theatre as Marketing and Theatre Administrator, where she assisted with the company’s marketing campaigns and communications strategy. Before working at the Gate, she was a freelance producer. She completed the Smock Generator Creative Producer Training Programme in 2016, and the Irish Theatre Institute / Town Hall Theatre ELEVATOR Producer Mentoring Programme in 2017. She has produced new work at the Town Hall Theatre and Mick Lally Theatre in Galway, Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin, as well as at the Dublin Fringe Festival and Dublin Theatre Festival, and elsewhere. Neasa is also a playwright and was one of 30 writers selected for Fishamble’s A Play for Ireland programme in 2018.  In 2015-16, she was a Writer-on-Attachment at the Oxford Playhouse, a Writer-in-Residence at the North Wall Arts Centre, Oxford, a Resident Writer at Theatre503 and a member of Soho Theatre’s Writers’ Lab, London. She holds a BA in English, Classics and Creative Writing from NUI Galway, an MPhil in Irish Writing from Trinity College, Dublin, and an MRes in Playwriting Studies from the University of Birmingham.
