GULL.

Shanna May Breen

Co-commissioned by the Abbey Theatre & Dublin Fringe Festival

An outdoor meandering city project dedicated to Dublin’s (sea)gulls.

In an ambitious participatory project, an environmental artist collaborates with a squabble of gulls, artists, scientists and locals to craft a bird’s-eye view of the city. A fizzy experiment that glides between performance, ornithology and empathy.

Expect homemade beaks, sound, outdoor walking and a sideways look at the migration of gulls to cities.

Just like us humans.

Supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Sports and Media and Dublin City Council. Developed at FRINGE LAB and as part of PAN PAN's International Mentorship Programme 2022.

Please Note:
Performance is unseated and contains movement, it takes place outside, please dress appropriately.  This performance has limited accessibility, please contact box office prior to booking.
