Fringe Festival

aon mhac tíre, nó roinnt mic tire

“499 km de theorainn chun siúl - níl a fhios againn cé chomh eile a freagra a thabhairt ar cad atá ag tarlú.” A performance in three language sets: Gaeilge, English and Dance. Two Irishmen walk into a theatre: one from America and one from Ireland. Two men walk Irishly into an amharclann. Two Irishmen walk the border between the Republic and The North, then into a theatre. This duet traces a border, looking for midlands, mid folks and inbetweeners. It describes the familial lineages of an Irish emigrant and an Irish native, both queer; both with aspirations to discover or uncover a future by squinting at the past. Coming home. Leaving. Coming and going.
