Join the Fringe team! We’re recruiting: Technical Manager

Dublin Fringe Festival is seeking to recruit a motivated and dynamic person to fulfil the role of Technical Manager from August 2019.


This post is part‐time three days per week from 6th August to August 16th and from 22nd September to September 27th and full‐time 19th August until 21st September.

A handover period will be required at the end of July 2019 with contact dates flexible to suit the successful candidate.

The nature of the role means that much of the work during the festival period will involve working anti‐social evening and weekend hours. Part-time hours are flexible in agreement with Production Manager


The successful candidate should have a background in technical theatre and needs to be able to demonstrate solid experience in working with a range of artists and production companies preferably with some experience of working with productions which have taken place during Dublin Fringe Festival.


The successful candidate must be able to draw lighting and ground plans in Vectorworks, Cad or other similar software.


The successful candidate will be part of a core team of the Production Manager and a second Technical Manager who begins in September 2019.


Part of the role of Technical Manager will be to manage one specific outdoor event.

2.         Interviews will be held in Dublin on the afternoon of 4th/5th July. Interviews by Skype are possible if candidates are unavailable for that date.

3.         Start date: 6th August 2019.
